A.W.O.L.

Ah life. She is a harsh mistress, no?

Anyhow, I've been gone long enough. I won't bore you with the emo-drama. I'm back now.

For now, I'm going to cover some tournament stuff - what I like, what I don't like, etc.
We'll be starting off with the Ardboyz on the 15th. I wanted to be able to go to the Primer tournament for the NOVA Open, but as that is on the 8th and I had already committed to my wife that the Ardboyz would be the only one this month... well. I could probably get away with it if there wasn't so much to do around the house/garden/yard to get it cleaned/planted/looking nice.
C'est la vie.

Carry on .

  1. There's nothing stopping you trying to drum up another NOVA Primer happening. Unless there is, in which case I look silly now.

    But, you could probably still try. lol

    I plan to try and run 3/4 Primer Events, to try out the system properly.

  3. TKE: How does one run three-quarters of an event? Call the tournament after turn two on the third game?

  4. It's really difficult, but it involves complex equations, a hacksaw, and 3 gallons of brake fluid...oh, and a balloon animal...

    man, we used to get strange stares from the Frat and sororitutes.

    @john
    life wins over dollies man. hands down. We're starting to get requests coming in from around Illinois/Indiana/Ohio for us to come to local tournaments. Mrs. Farmpunk get to override if she wants. Otherwise, I'd be at a tournament every weekend for about 6 weeks.
